At the Slingeplas you can take a refreshing dip in summer and make beautiful walks and cycling trips in autumn, while children play on the beach. The recreational area is at walking distance from De Twee Bruggen holiday park and is the perfect place for a fun day out!

Recreation area de Slingeplas is located near the fortified town of Bredevoort - near Aalten and Winterswijk. Here you will find a large swimming lake with a sandy beach, spacious sunbathing areas and the necessary facilities for a nice day out.
Slingeplas is open 365 days a year, from sunrise to sunset. Access to the recreational area is free of charge. Coming by car? Then you only pay the parking fee.
Recreational area de Slingeplas is an official swimming location. This means that the water quality is checked regularly during the swimming season (high season), from 1 May to 1 October.
Dogs are allowed on a leash with the exception of the beach. By mistake, the signs around the Slingeplas state that dogs are not allowed, this will be corrected.
At the Slingeplas, you park -at your own risk- your car in a spacious and unguarded area for a small fee.
As soon as you arrive with your car, you must pay at the column at the barrier. This is done by PIN, cash is not possible. You can also have your parking pass read at the kiosk.

Subscription Parking Pass (01-01 of current year to 31-12 of current year) The subscription parking pass can be purchased at the reception of Holiday Park De Twee Bruggen.
Recreation area de Slingeplas has a limited number of motorhome sites available all year round.
